Course Overview
This distribution cadetship is perfect if you’re under the age of 25 and want to study while working as it runs part-time over a one-year period. It’s designed for flexibility, allowing both you and your employer to easily fit the study around your work schedules.
You’ll learn everything from operating procedures to receiving and dispatching goods, all while seeing how the industry operates as a whole.
Our tutors will guide you every step of the way while you cover a mix of theory-based learning backed up by practical training on site. There are also work placements in industry to add to your real world experience.
Upon successfully completing the requirements you'll receive the award of:

Course Entry Information
Entry criteria
You must:
- be 16 years of age or older, AND
- have NCEA Level 1 or equivalent
- working in the industry
Standard Entry Criteria
Admission, entry, selection, and enrolment into programmes will be in accordance with the Academic Regulations and/or, where approved, specific programme regulations.
For courses at levels 1-3, domestic and international students will be required to:
Provide evidence of ability to complete academic requirements.
English language requirements
Level 3 certificate IELTS General or Academic score of 5 with no band score lower than 5 or completed New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 3 with an endorsement of either General, Workplace or Academic, or meets a relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined by NZQA.
