Dependent on the region Te Puawānanga is delivered, you'll learn karakia, waiata, whakapapa, tikanga (customary) and cultural practices pertaining to that region.
This course is mainly delivered through wānanga on marae or other Toi Ohomai locations and you don't have to be fluent in Te Reo to do this course as you'll learn and share through "koha" in a fun and friendly environment.

English language requirements
Level 3 certificate IELTS General or Academic score of 5 with no band score lower than 5 or completed New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 3 with an endorsement of either General, Workplace or Academic, or meets a relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined by NZQA.
