Ellen teaches on the Level 5 Sports and Therapeutic Massage programme at the Mokoia Campus. She holds a Bachelor of Health Studies in Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy and brings valuable industry experience to the classroom.

Prior to teaching, Ellen worked as a massage therapist for High Performance Sport New Zealand, primarily supporting Rowing New Zealand athletes. In this role, she helped athletes optimise performance, assist recovery, and manage the physical demands of training and competition.

Alongside her teaching career, Ellen runs her own clinic in Rotorua, where she works with a diverse range of clients, from athletes and fitness enthusiasts to people seeking support for their overall health and wellbeing. Her combination of clinical practice and high-performance sport experience allows her to provide students with practical, real-world insights into the massage industry.
