Welcome to the Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga Media Centre. This is where members of the media can find resources to help with stories and reporting including media releases, photos and frequently asked questions.

The Media Centre is manned by the Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga Communications and Digital team during business hours, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, and if you include your deadline in your inquiry we will work to ensure we respond before this time. Toi Ohomai is a business division of Te Pūkenga - New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology.

Toi Ohomai was born from a vision to meet the education and employment needs of the Bay of Plenty and South Waikato regions, while fostering innovation, being a sustainable organisation and supporting students beyond their qualifications by building strong relationships with industry and community decision makers.

Today, it’s one of the largest tertiary education providers in the regions, with more than 12,000 students who study across nearly 86 delivery sites at Rotorua, Taupō, Tauranga, Tokoroa and Whakatāne.

With more than 200 study options covering specialties in business, creative arts, engineering, forestry, health and nursing, hospitality, marine science, road transport, tourism, trades and more, Toi Ohomai offers something for everyone.
