Kaveeta Dutt

Kaveeta Dutt is the Programme Manager for the Postgraduate programmes at Toi Ohomai. Study areas include Management (Business, Health, or Hospitality), Applied Professional Studies (Mentoring and Leadership, or Adult Teaching) and Applied Science (Biodiversity Management).

Kaveeta has a Master of Education from the University of Otago, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Professional Development from Victoria University of Wellington and a Bachelor of Science Information Systems from Brigham Young University in Hawaii. Kaveeta also has professional qualifications and memberships that complement her role as an Academic Lead.

A native of the Fiji Islands, Kaveeta has been residing in New Zealand for the past 15 years. Kaveeta believes in making education accessible to all learners. Her areas of interest include Māori and Pasifika engagement in information technology, strengthening digital technology in high schools and promoting industry and professional certifications to current and future IT employees.
