Every year Toi Ohomai publishes an Annual Report detailing its financial performance and key facts. 

Please note, the Annual Report below covers the whole Te Pūkenga network.

Summary of results across the Te Pūkenga network, in 2023:

• A total of 236,819 learners (including 105,103 trainees and apprentices)
• 47,195 graduates
• 26,750 employers
• 73.1% of Māori learners completed their courses and 79% of all courses were completed
• 90% ākonga satisfaction rate
• 5,315 international student EFTs, an 86% growth on 2022 numbers
• 8,437 (FTE) kaimahi (staff) (compared to 9,082 in 2022)
• Exceeded the target for amount of External Research Income earned in 2023, with income of $13.7m compared to the target of $12.3m
• Increase in Employers Net Promoter Score (NPS) to 28 in 2023 from 26 in 2022
• Year end result is $35.6m surplus when revaluation of land and buildings is taken into account
• Operating deficit of $37.9m compared to projected deficit of $93.4m
