Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology is proud to partner with Smokefreerockquest to announce the winners of the Toi Ohomai Emerging Talent Awards at the competition’s 2025 Bay of Plenty regional finals.

The last Friday before the April semester break concluded on a high note for 40 Toi Ohomai music ākonga who attended a drumming masterclass with well-known Kiwi musician, Stan Bicknell.

Fresh off a world tour, L.A.B. bass player Ara Adams-Tamatea visited Toi Ohomai music ākonga this month to provide insight into the New Zealand music industry and share his career story.
