Dr Maryam Var Naseri is a cybersecurity academic and educator with teaching experience in New Zealand, Malaysia, and China. She holds a PhD in Cybersecurity from Victoria University of Wellington, where her doctoral research focused on AI-driven cybersecurity, intelligent honeypots, reinforcement learning, and attacker behaviour.
She has experience teaching Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and Cloud Computing, with a strong interest in connecting academic research with practical and industry-relevant applications.
