Topics you'll cover
In-class delivery will be over three days, covering a total of eight hours. Content covered is in-house material which is structured around previous examination papers.
The Electrician Regulations examination is an open-book examination.
The Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) will post the list of material required for the examination on their website. Please check their website for this information and ensure you at least have a copy of the AS/NZS 3000:2007 "The Wiring Rules" for the exam.

English language requirements
Level 4 certificate IELTS General or Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 or completed New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 3 with an endorsement of either General, Workplace or Academic, or meets a relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined by NZQA.
