Fees at Toi Ohomai
** Some Course Details May Change **
As part of our move into Te Pūkenga we’re excited to be part of a large-scale review of courses. This is ongoing, and means that some course details including fees, and entry requirements may change. In the meantime please go ahead and apply as normal and we are always available to answer any questions you might have.
You'll find your fees on the individual course pages. They’re an indication only so they may not be exact, and they're subject to change.
Your final fee may vary if:
- you have a choice of topics/papers to study
- the qualification excludes gst
- there are extra course materials to purchase
- student levies apply
We'll let you know if any of these apply to you.
Student Support Levy
The 2023 Toi Ohomai student levy has been set at:
• $328 for ākonga studying at Mokoia and Poike/Windermere campuses
• Discounted levy fees of $231.00 for ākonga at our regional campuses
• $164.00 for ākonga studying via distance learning
Improvements are made as a result of ākonga feedback (student voice, student surveys, and face-to-face) and through feedback provided through your elected student representatives. Toi Ohomai levy charges have only increased once in the last three years, and for 2023 remain at the lower end of levy charges across the ITP sector.
For more information on the levy read our Student Support Levy Frequently Asked Questions (pdf, 49kb)
International fees apply if you are a New Zealand resident or New Zealand permanent resident studying outside of New Zealand.
If you’re studying part-time you’ll pay fees proportional to the topics/papers selected for that year of study.
If you meet the eligibility criteria there are several ways to take advantage of free study at Toi Ohomai. Find out more in our frequently asked questions about free fees.
When to Pay Your Fees
