Our Campuses are Cashless

Toi Ohomai campuses no longer accept cash. All payments must be made electronically using EFTPOS, debit or credit card, or bank transfer.

What this means

If you’re starting or continuing your study with us in 2026 and want to pay your fees in advance, you can pay by bank transfer from home or head to our Information Centre to pay electronically. Alternatively, we can assist you in applying for a student loan or allowance through StudyLink. 

All on-campus services at Toi Ohomai, except the cafés, require electronic payments. These include:

  • Our Copy Centres
  • Hairdressing, Barbering and Beauty Therapy Studios
  • Te Pare a Ruahine – Aquatic and Fitness Centre in Tauranga
  • Print balances: top up at the Library or online via The Hub app
  • Culinary and patisserie bake sales
  • Student-run markets and shops
  • Vending machines.

Please note: The ReStore cafés on campus in Tauranga and The Melting Pot café in Rotorua do accept cash.
