Wāhine Māia - Women in Trades

Toi Ohomai Women in the Trades Networking Forum

Wāhine Māia is a Women-in-Trade network embedded in kaupapa Māori that brings together wāhine (women) studying a trade at Toi Ohomai.

It is an opportunity to whakawhanaunga (establish relationships), learn, and network with other wāhine in the Trades industry.

We invite all our trades wāhine to engage in each wānanga (learning forum) (one per term) and share wheako (experiences), with each other.

Talk with your Kaiako (Tutor), Kaitātaiako Facilitator, or MPTT Coordinator to find out more.

Come see us at the O-Week Vibes on your campus (week beginning Wednesday, 1 March 2023).

Open to all Toi Ohomai wāhine studying a Toi Ohomai Trades programme.
