BIOL6012 Marine Ecology and Monitoring (Level 6) (15 credits)

You’ll gain practical knowledge about the biology and ecology of marine flora and fauna in New Zealand. You'll also learn skills to conduct and organise a variety of marine surveys.

Contents may include:

  • Critically examine and explain ecosystems found in the North-East bioregion of New Zealand and how they're linked.
  • Discuss and carry out a biological baseline survey of an estuarine, rocky shore, or sub-tidal ecosystem.
