Tangatarua Marae

The Tangatarua Marae graduation ceremonies are open to all graduands and are based on tikanga Māori. We are pleased to offer this kaupapa Māori, culturally unique way, to celebrate your success with your whānau, friends and kaimahi.

Regional Graduands

Graduands based in Taupō, Tokoroa or Whakatāne, can attend a ceremony of their choice (at the appropriate level) in either Rotorua, Tauranga or Tangatarua Marae (Rotorua Campus).

If you require transport for yourself and your whānau when travelling from the regions, please email the Graduation Team to register your interest.

Graduation Parades

In 2027, we are excited to bring back our Graduation Parades in Rotorua and Tauranga.

All graduates are welcome to take part, regardless of which graduation ceremony you are attending. The parades are an opportunity to celebrate your achievement alongside fellow graduates, whānau and the wider community.
